My current favorite is oils. I love the texture and juiciness of oils. I have taken numerous workshops, but the bulk of my art education comes from painting weekly with a fabulous group of professional artists known as <b>Local Colour</b>. For the past 15 years or so, we have taken week long paint-out trips to Eastern Oregon, the Oregon Coast and this year Sun River is our destination.<br><br>My art quilting experience began just last year when I took a Landscape Quilt class. I have always loved fabric and textiles and combining art and textiles is a natural next step.
